“In many species of animals and in some plants with separate sexes, a pair of chromosomes is observed which differ in the male and female, and which are precisely called c. sexual (or heterochromosomes), while the others c. of the kit are called autosomes. There can be different cases: the female has two identical chromosomes (XX) and the male two different ones (XY) or only one (XO); in this case the female sex is homozygous or homogametic, the male heterozygous or digametic”. ArchiteXX is a blog of stories and thoughts on Architecture.
I am Chiara C., I am an architect and therefore a XX architect. I live and work in Puglia, in the province of Lecce.
Turin was my city until 2015. After completing my studies in Architecture and obtaining the qualification as an architect at the Turin Polytechnic, the call of the sea brought me back to southern Italy, to Salento, to Lecce.
From the magnificient baroque city of Lecce to the natural emblem of Punta Ristola, from Leuca Lighthouse to Otranto Cathedral. Between a rock and an olive tree. Between the magic rural stone walls and the shrines.
Day after day I reclaim the land that gave me birth and that I love so much. Salento is in my heart.
This blog was created for the sole purpose of recording, annotating, sharing thoughts around everything on Architecture 🙂
